David Rosen is a composer/producer from Las Vegas, NV. Born in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up in Stroudsburg, PA, David has always been around music. His father, Rich Rosen owns one of the worlds' greatest record shops, Wax Trax Records. David was introduced to music through his parents who pushed all genres onto him. David started out in classic rock, moving on to heavy metal, then to industrial, from their to goth, from their to hiphop, then to rock, and now to indy rock... Yes the standard "anything but country" applies here. Still, he has been composing and producing hiphop for over 5 years and continues to do so, while also fine-tuning his musical chops as he hopes to compose soundtracks in the future. Currently David works with the following groups:
- The Polar Bear MC's aka The Killa Korpse Gangstaz - a comedy gangsta rap group which David performs in (as Jewish Dave) and produces.
- Tha Roarin' Lionz - an offshoot of The Polar Bear MC's featuring many samples over 80s music (David also produces and performs).
- Desert Mobb - a rap group featuring local rappers Trajik and Infa.Red.
- Never Enough - a indy rock group fronted by singer/songwriter Jessica Chavez.
- The AAA's - an imaginary group used to test David's recording abilities.
- Free Sticker - a comedy punk group that may or may not ever happen featuring Q of The Polar Bear MC's.
David's goals are to complete a new Polar Bear MC's album, and the debut albums by Tha Roarin' Lionz, Desert Mobb, Trajik, Infa.Red, and Never Enough, all before the end of 2005 (a huge task, but he believes it can be done). Once these albums are out and successfully promoted (promotion being another of David's talents), he plans to focus on his own instrumental work. He hopes to get his instrumental work into movies, television, commercials, and/or video games, although a complete instrumental CD is not out of the question for the future.
